OVER 200 cannabis plants have been seized during raids in Heckmondwike, one of which saw police knocking down a door with 12 locks.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out raids at two properties yesterday afternoon after receiving tip offs the houses were being used for drug production.
Between the two properties they found a number of cannabis plants at various stages of growth.
A police spokesman said: "One of the properties had a 12 lock security door, but was no match for our highly trained 'method of entry' officers.
