A SAFEGUARDING event will be held in Holme Wood next month.
The aim is to celebrate the work of people who are making their community stronger and safer.
A number of presentations will be delivered, including one on the reopening of the library and the impact it has had, the 'Build a Girl' project, as well as how digital support can make people less isolated, more connected and safer.
It was also shine a spotlight on a buddy project, a partnership which responds to young people who are vulnerable.
A question and answer session will also be included.
The event will be held on June 25 at the Holme Wood Connect, Broadstone Way, and will begin at 10.30am.
It will mark the beginning of Bradford Council's Safeguarding Week, an annual week of learning events coordinated by the Bradford Safeguarding Children Board.
