BRADFORD residents with O negative and B negative blood are being urged to donate in the run up to the bank holiday.

The NHS is calling for people to come forward because donations drop during bank holidays as people go away and are busy with their family.

If they do not collect enough O negative and B negative blood donations before the break, stocks are likely to fall below two days.

Existing O negative and B negative donors are being prioritised and they can walk in and donate at our fixed site donor centre at Kenburgh House on Manor Row.

We are also asking people with appointments to keep them, especially O negative and B negative donors.

To book a donation phone 0300 123 23 23 or visit www.blood.co.uk
