THE Winter Garden in Ilkley will host a gin event on July 21. The Ginspire Club Festival will play host to an array of small batch craft gins with a particular focus on Yorkshire based products.

“The true focus of the event is to showcase local producers and really advertise what great gins are being produced not only in the UK but within Yorkshire,” said Bill Lever of Ginspire Club.

“We work closely with local suppliers and the diversity of gins being produced in our region is incredible. Rhubarb gins are extremely popular at the moment and we will have several."

A cocktail bar will also feature which has proven very popular at past events. A Ginspire mixologist will be on hand using locally made produce.

“We love using locally made gins and liqueurs, we have some mouth-watering cocktails lined up and are working with Addingham Fruit Liqueurs and Spirits of Bronte to ensure we stay as local as possible," added Bill.

Ginspire work with Fever Tree and a full range of their mixers will be available with tasting notes and serving suggestions.

Due to popularity there are two sessions available, 1pm until 4pm and 7.30pm until 10.30pm. The evening session is almost sold out with capacity set at 160 attendees however there is still good availability for the afternoon session. Tickets are priced at £10 and include a free drink, a gin glass to take away and an event guide.
