FORMER City duo James Meredith and Brad Jones have been included in Australia’s provisional squad for the World Cup.
The pair feature in the national team’s 32-man preliminary squad announced by manager Bert van Marwijk.
Australia’s squad will be trimmed to 26 or 27 ahead of a training camp in Turkey later this month, before Van Marwijk selects his final 23-man party on June 4.
Meredith spent five seasons with City, making 181 appearances before leaving at the end of the 2016-17 season.
Jones, a former Liverpool goalkeeper, joined the Bantams from Merseyside in 2015 and appeared three times for the club.
