THE RSPCA is hiring a new inspector for the Bradford area to serve on the frontline of animal welfare.

The position, in Bradford and Leeds, comes with full training including abseiling and water rescue training, so applicants need to have no fears of heights or cramped spaces.

Inspectors also investigate animal welfare complaints and prepare cases for court.

Dermot Murphy, assistant director of the RSPCA Inspectorate, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who has always wanted to work with animals - this could be a young person or someone older looking for a career change.

“If you are stuck in a rut this could be the key to getting to work as part of a charity which makes a real difference to the welfare of animals.”
