THE second Bingley Walking Festival will be taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event.
The free event is bigger and better this year, offering a choice of five walks for ramblers of all abilities, all led by experience walkers.
On the walks, people can take in some of the best sights in and around Bingley, and well behaved dogs are also welcome to join the rambles.
The festival is organised by Bingley Walkers are Welcome.
The first walk, for families, starts at 10am, followed by trek along the River Aire and Leeds and Liverpool Canal at 11am.
A ten-mile ramble around Harden Valley and a history walk around the town start at 1pm, with the final walk to Micklethwaite starting at 2pm.
All walks begin outside Bingley Arts Centre in Main Street and are free to take part in.
