SALTAIRE Brewery has received its first accreditation to go alongside its numerous national and international trade awards.

It is now a Salsa (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) plus Beer certified brewery following its first audit by the scheme. The accreditation is backed by Cask Marque and assesses a number of criteria from tasting to waste control.

All auditors are specially trained and have extensive experience of the brewing industry.

Saltaire Brewery, based in Shipley, is well respected for the high-quality beers it brews and has never sought endorsement beyond customer feedback until now.

Managing director Ewen Gordon said: “In an increasingly competitive industry we know how important consistency and quality is to our trade customers and every discerning beer drinker.”
