OVER 4,000 yellow rubber ducks will bob around City Park’s mirror pool to help raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The charity Hook A Duck event will be held on Friday (27) and people will be invited to take part in a gigantic version of the popular fairground game.

The event will raise money for the Air Ambulance, which is the official charity for the Tour de Yorkshire.

Prizes have been donated by local businesses and attractions and Tour de Yorkshire sponsors.

Bradford Aquatics has also donated swimming lesson packages and free family swims at council pools. People can also win ‘tea with the Lord Mayor of Bradford’

The ducks are being loaned to Bradford Council, who will run the event, by Burley-in-Wharfedale Community Trust.

The event runs from noon to 2pm.
