Burst water main near Greengates causes traffic chaos
A BURST water main on the A657 at New Line this morning caused heavy traffic both ways on the A658 Harrogate Road during rush hour.
Highways England said the burst was near to Asda causing congestion on the surrounding routes and affecting traffic between Calverley and Greengates, as well as towards Rawdon and along Harrogate Road.
Commuters were asked to seek alternative routes while the burst is repaired.
