THERE are just a few days left to catch an arts installation inspired by a local circus group.

Cupola at Cartwright Hall, is a colourful installation inspired by Skinning The Cat, an aerial circus company that was based in Manningham.

The group regularly performed in the city, including at Bradford Festival, from the late 1980s. They were best know for their death defying trapeze acts, performed in colourful costumes.

The installation, which opened in November, closes on Sunday.

It is part of a wider exhibition at the gallery celebrating 250 years of the British circus, which runs until June.

It has been funded by Arts Council England and includes costumes that have been on display at the V&A.
