BOSSES of a Bradford nightclub where six people were stabbed will have to wait until a police investigation is concluded before finding out if the local authority will take action against it.

Seven people were arrested at the start of this month after six men were stabbed during a disorder outside the Wakefield Road venue, but a licensing review has been put on hold while officers investigate.

Police were alerted to the disturbance in the early hours of April 2 when they received a phone call from Bradford Royal Infirmary saying a male had turned up with stab wounds.

More calls were made to police about the men going to other West Yorkshire hospitals.

A Bradford Council spokesman, said: “We are awaiting the outcome from a police investigation before considering if any licensing action is necessary.”
