BRADFORD is the 10th most watched city in the UK outside London according to the numbers of CCTV cameras.
Data secured by RS Components has discovered there are 283 cameras watching you in Bradford.
Out of the top 20 in Yorkshire, Wakefield comes in at 177 and Sheffield at 159, according to the data.
The city with the most eyes on its residents is Bristol, with 658 cameras.
Paradoxically, Birmingham comes in at second with 422 cameras despite having more than double the population of Bristol.
In 39th place in Newport with a modest 39 cameras.
According to the data, between 2012 and 2016, almost £300 million was spent on the installation, maintenance and monitoring of CCTV cameras in the UK, working out at more than £180,000 per day.
In contrast, the London borough of Hackney takes the accolade of being the most watched with 2,900 cameras installed. Lambeth has the least at 42.
