A POPULAR family event will return in 2018, after the arts group behind it was awarded new funding.
Cecil Green Arts aims to run the Listers Lanterns parade every Autumn, but depends on securing funding each year.
The group has recently announced that it has just been awarded a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery's Awards For All fund, as well as getting support from Bradford Council.
It means Lister Park will once again be lit by hundreds of the group’s quirky lanterns one night this October.
Last year’s event, which was inspired by David Hockney, saw over 350 lanterns paraded through the Manningham park.
There will be workshops in the run up to the event, with members of the public asked to help create the huge lanterns.
