A BRADFORD nightclub is gearing up to host a three-day live music festival to raise money for local charities.
‘Easterfest’ will be held at Trash Nightclub on Sackville Street in the city centre on Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31, and Sunday, April 1.
Acts set to appear on the bill include Toploader, whose debut album ‘Onka’s Big Moka’ sold more than one million units and peaked in the Top five of the UK albums chart in 2001, and Bradford’s own indie-rock outfit Scars on 45.
The event is being held to support Marie Curie and the British Heart Foundation.
Organiser Diane Gillen said: “Both charities are close to our hearts, so you can understand why we would like to raise as much money as possible for these two worthy causes.”
