BRADFORD magician Dynamo has shared a video on Twitter detailing how a bout of food poisoning last year has had a serious impact on his personal health.

Dynamo - real name Steven Frayne - shot to fame through his Magician Impossible television series and Seeing is Believing tour.

The magician, from Delph Hill, said in the video he has taken a step back from the public eye after getting food poisoning last summer.

He also has Crohn's Disease, and Dynamo said this combined with the food poisoning has had a big impact on his health.

In the video, he said: "I got really sick and ended up in hospital last summer due to a really bad type of food poisoning, which due to having Crohn's Disease and food poisoning is a very bad combination.

"Thankfully the NHS worked amazingly well to get me out of hospital and back on my feet, but I have a lot of ongoing side-effects from having food poisoning which I'm still dealing with today.

"The main one is a bad type of arthritis which has affected all the joints in my body, my toes, knees, neck, ankles and hands, which really sucks as a magician when you can't shuffle a pack of cards because your hands are in so much pain, which has happened on the odd occasion.
