ENTRY for the postponed Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k has re-opened after snow forced the organisers to re-schedule the event.

The race was due to take place last Sunday, but an amber weather warning meant it was put back to Sunday, April 29.

Carl Foster, race director, said a record 2,400 runners signed up, however, 100 places were still left.

He added: “Once we made the decision to postpone the race, we immediately had people who had missed the initial deadline enquiring to see whether we would be taking anymore entries for the new date.

“We are pleased that we have this opportunity to invite more people to take part in the event on April 29."
