READING charity Beanstalk is appealing for volunteers to visit schools in Bradford to read to children.
Beanstalk Reading 321 sees volunteers help three children, twice a week, for at least one academic year.
The aim is for the volunteers to help the children improve their reading ability, confidence and learn to love reading.
Volunteers are allocated schools near where they live and the sessions are 90 minutes.
The group is training new reading helpers in Bradford next Monday. Anyone able to volunteer can apply by visiting beanstalkcharity.org.uk/register-now
