A FAULTY fridge freezer sparked a house fire this morning.
Firefighters from Odsal and Fairweather Green were called to Hudson Avenue, Canterbury, Bradford at 8.30am.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said two people were in the house at the time, but escaped without injury.
The property had working smoke alarms and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze.
Crew Commander Abid Qureshi said it was important that the kitchen doors were closed at the time, preventing the fire from spreading further.
