A VOLKSWAGEN Golf suffered extensive damage after bursting into flames in a supermarket car park tonight.
Firefighters from Odsal were called to the fire at 6.55pm to reports a car was on fire at Morrisons, in Mayo Avenue, Bradford.
"The fire appeared to be accidental and was confined to the engine compartment, " a spokesman for the fire service said.
"We used one hose reel to avoid serious damage to a car parked alongside the VW Golf though it did suffer some damage.
"Firefighters used another hose reel and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire."
No one was injured in the incident.
