A BRADFORD-based logistics firm has launched a graduate scheme in a bid to attract new talent to the industry.

Advanced Supply Chain Group (ASCG), headquartered at the Euroway Trading Estate, has welcomed its first graduates after receiving hundreds of applications.

They are Lloyd Moore, who joins from the University of Huddersfield, Nadia Gonzalez de Dios, from the University of Lincoln, Rob Johnson, a Leeds Beckett graduate and Adil Mahmood who joins from the University of Bradford.

Mike Danby, CEO of ASCG, said: “We’re always looking towards the future of our sector and the competition for the best talent is tough. We want the brightest graduates and young people to choose a career in supply chain.”

Each new hire will be on rotation across the finance, operations, commercial and transport departments, spending a four to six-month period with each. The programme has been tailored with support of a mentor for each graduate, in line with their personal goals.
