PEOPLE are being urged to show their support for a high-speed rail station in Bradford.
Transport for the North (TfN) will be in Bradford today to hold a public consultation event on the draft Strategic Transport Plan, which includes a proposed network for Northern Powerhouse Rail. Bradford Council says securing a city centre stop on the network is a key priority.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council Leader, said: “I would encourage all supporters of Bradford’s case to come along to the consultation event and actively play a part in helping to secure this vital investment for the city centre.”
The event will run between 4pm and 7pm at Bradford College’s Advanced Technology Centre, Randall Well Street.
