Residents have been warned to hide their keys after a set were stolen from inside a house in Queensbury
RESIDENTS have been warned to be vigilant after a set of house keys were stolen from inside a house in Bradford.
Bradford District Neighbourhood Watch today tweeted the keys were stolen from an unidentified home in Queensbury after the burglar used a long hook after seeing them on display when they looked through the letterbox.
The group showed how te burglars could do this by using a picture which was not from the Queensbury incident.
The tweet said: "So this happened in #Queensbury in the early hours of this morning. Nice, easy pickings for the opportunist burglar. Please keep your keys out of sight. #neighbourhoodwatch #crimeprevention."
