A SALTAIRE-based telecommunications company is looking forward to its biggest year yet after being acquired.

Selective Networks, based in Salts Mill, Victoria Road, is now part of the iFace Group, which has posted first-year revenue projections of £2.2m.

The Saltaire firm, which was launched in 2011, specialises in a range of telecommunications including hosted cloud-based telephony, broadband and internet connectivity and mobile telephony.

Selective Networks, founded by telecommunications entrepreneur Jonathan Rutter, was sold to Doncaster-based iFace Group in September last year, with Mr Rutter retaining his role within the company.

iFace Group is also buying two IT businesses and setting up its own dedicated headset supply business.

The group employs 12 people with more recruits imminent.

Managing director Mr Rutter said: “It’s been a whirlwind couple of months and we’re now looking forward to a very exciting 2018 with lots of exciting acquisitions in the pipeline and the potential for tremendous growth.

“Becoming part of iFace Group has taken Selective Networks to the next level, and we have great ambition for the new group.

“The idea is to provide a complete and seamless telecommunications and IT service rather than having to use separate providers for different elements of the telecoms mix.

“We’ve found that clients value the service all under one roof approach when it comes to telephony, IT and communications services.”

Financial advice for the acquisition and sale was provided by West Yorkshire chartered accountants, Hentons.
