A MAN has been found dead with a head injury at a Bradford school.
Alexander Melville, 56, was sub contracted by construction company Laing O'Rourke to work at Carlton Bolling College, Undercliffe Lane, where his body was found.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called at 1.20pm on Friday, February 2 after a man was found with a head injury.
"Emergency services attended but the man, who was believed to be in his fifties, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner."
A Carlton Bolling College spokesperson said: “A Laing O'Rourke sub-contractor who had been working on site at Carlton Bolling sadly died on February 2.
“West Yorkshire Police have investigated the incident and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
“We want to reassure pupils, parents and staff that there is no reason to be concerned and our thoughts are with his family and those affected at this sad time.”
A Laing O’Rourke spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with the family and those affected by the death of an employee of one of our sub-contractors on Friday 2 February. West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that his death is not being treated as suspicious.”
