POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to following a robbery in Great Horton Road.

The incident is said to have occurred in the street close to the city centre between 11pm on Wednesday, January 24, and midnight on Thursday 25.

A 21-year-old man was approached by two men who demanded money. The victim handed over £10 in cash and tried to run from the men, who chased him and assaulted him before stealing his phone and running away along Great Horton Road.

The victim was not injured in the incident and his phone was also retrieved by a member of the public, who confronted the suspects after chasing them.

Detective Inspector Matt Walker, of Bradford District CID, said: “We are appealing for this member of the public to come forward and speak to us about what happened, as he may have further information which will enable us to progress our investigation.”
