A TEENAGER accused of shooting two men in a Bradford street has seen the case against him dropped.
The youth, who was aged 17 at the time, was charged with the attempted murder of Rohid Ali and Zaka Ur-Rehman following the incident in Heaton Road, Manningham, on August 15 last year.
It was alleged he had fired a shotgun from a car, causing injuries to the two men.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC, heard that following a review of evidence in the case, there was “no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.”
He said: “It seems to me that conclusion is absolutely right”, and formally recorded not guilty verdicts.
