THREE schools in the Bradford district are shut today due to wintry weather.
Ellar Carr Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), Ellar Carr Road, Bradford, has shut due to weather conditions around the district and the health & safety of transporting students to and from school.
Killinghall Primary School, Killinghall Road, Bradford, is also fully closed today due to treacherous icy conditions on the school grounds and surrounding paths school.
Meanwhile, Riddlesden St Mary's CE Primary School, Grange Road, Keighley, has also closed after staff completed a full site inspection, due to treacherous conditions caused by black ice. It was originally hoped the school would be open at 10am.
