A MAN has been taken to hospital after falling from a bridge onto the railway line between Bradford Interchange and Hebden Bridge.
British Transport Police confirmed a call had been made of the incident at just after 1pm today.
The incident occurred in the Huddersfield Road area of Halifax.
A spokesman for the police said the man was treated at the line side before being taken to hospital with “serious injuries”.
National Rail said lines reopened at around 2pm though disruption was likely to continue for a while because of the delays caused.
