DRIVERS in Bradford will spend more than £12,000 in their lifetime ‘pimping’ their cars, a new survey has revealed.

The research showed motorists in the district spend on average £12,125.15 pampering and ‘pimping’ their cars, with the most popular modification being alloy wheel rims.

The most tasteless modifications were said to be rear view mirror decorations.

Bradford motorists also said they believe Yorkshire has the rudest and most inconsiderate drivers in the UK, whereas the national figures revealed people across the country think Yorkshire has the second most friendly and considerate drivers in the country.

Those surveyed also revealed the most common vehicle owned by rude drivers was the BMW M3, followed by the Range Rover, Audi TT, and Mercedes-Benz C Class.

The Ford Transit, Volkswagen Golf and Vauxhall Corsa all also ranked in the top ten, while Mini drivers were voted the friendliest motorists.

The research was carried out ahead of the premiere of new motoring programme Yianni: Supercar Customiser, which starts on television channel Dave tomorrow evening.
