Firefighters attend house fire in Bingley
TWO people have suffered smoke inhalation in a bedroom fire in York Street, Bingley.
Firefighters from Bingley and Shipley were called out at 7am today.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a high powered fan to tackle the fire and clear the smoke.
"One adult female and one adult male both suffered smoke inhalation but did not attend hospital," said a West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman.
Smoke detectors were fitted but not working at the time of the incident, he added.
