UP to 820 jobs could be created after planning permission was granted for a new business park in Thornbury.
Commercial Development Projects submitted an application for seven large units and an office block on the site off Gain Lane, on a 37-acre area behind Morrisons headquarters.
The business park also includes plans for a 540-space car park.
There is space for eight large units on the land and planning documents say the site is large enough that the development could be built without having a “significantly detrimental impact” on residents living to the north of the patch.
The park will be accessed via a new road from Gain Lane but as this area falls under Leeds City Council, a separate planning application submitted to the Leeds planning department must be approved before work can start at the site.
