A BRADFORD business will donate the money it makes tomorrow to help bring festive joy to the city’s “top of town.”
Brooklyn Fries, the district’s first poutine cafe, has already supported efforts to bring a tree to Oastler Square.
And on Saturday the Upper Millergate business will be giving its takings to Rev Graeme Dutton, who was behind the successful effort to raise money for a tree in the square, to make the area even more festive.
Brooklyn Fries has pledged to provide half the £1,500 funding needed for the tree and decorations, and tomorrow’s takings will help raise this cash and “create a little more excitement too.”
Although the tree has been up for a few weeks, more money is needed to finish it off with more decorations and fund planned events, such as a night of carol singing and entertainment around the tree.
The business opens at 11.30am.
