Long delays after crash on M606
THERE are long delays on the M606 this morning after a two car crash.
Two lanes of the Southbound carriage have been blocked following the incident that is thought to have taken place between J3 Rooley Lane and J2 Merrydale Road around 7.32am.
Two cars, a red Ford Fiesta and a red Volkswagen Polo are believed to have been involved.
Police and ambulance are at the scene, although no injuries have been reported.
One motorist who passed the scene said the vehicles had come to rest back to back in the outside lane.
