A MAN accused of causing death by dangerous driving in Bradford city centre has appeared in court.
Liaquat Ali, 30, appeared before Judge Neil Davey at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.
He has been accused of causing the death of Kathleen Farman, 54, who suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a car on Leeds Road, outside The Broadway shopping centre, on September 20.
Ali, of Thryberg Street, Bradford, appeared at yesterday’s brief hearing.
Andrew Dallas, defending, and Alisha Kaye, prosecuting, both agreed that the case could not move forward, and Ali could not enter a plea, until a collision report into the incident had been completed.
Judge Davey agreed, and another court date was set for December 5, when Ali is expected to enter a plea.
He was granted bail until then.
