A BRADFORD pub is holding a charity football match and family events in aid of Marie Curie Hospice and the Royal British Legion poppy appeal.

Ronnie Parker, landlord of the Malt Kiln pub, in Idle Road, has organised a football match to be played at Bradford Goals, in King's Road, Swain House on November 11, from 12pm.

This will be followed at 3pm at the Malt Kiln by entertainment, raffles, a bouncy castle, face painting, a pool competition and food, and after 7pm there will be live music by Les Rocks.

"All proceeds will be split between the two charities. If anyone wants to donate raffle prizes to help boost our fundraising they will be much appreciated," said Mr Proctor.

"We have some wonderful prizes already including boxing gloves signed by Ricky Hatton and Anthony Joshua."
