A CITY centre street will become a “river of light” this weekend during an event that will feature music, dance and performance.
Arts Group the Brick Box (pictured) have recently moved to Ivegate, and on Friday and Saturday evening are holding a number of events on the historic Bradford Road.
Starting at 6pm on both evenings, the event will see light installations, live projections, drawing and poetry workshops, and dance performances, as well as DJs and a water installation.
Captain Hotknives and the Peace Artistes will be performing on Friday, with the Bradford Festival Choral Society performing on Saturday. Outdoor events last until 10pm. After the outdoor events there will be a party in the group's new venue the Brick Box Rooms.
The evenings coincide with a number of events being held in the city centre as part of the Illuminate Bradford festival.
