PEOPLE are being invited to create their own David Hockney inspired lanterns as part of an evening event at a Bradford gallery later this month.

Cartwright Hall in Lister Park will be holding a museums at night lantern parade on Thursday, October 26, an event that will also feature fire jugglers and live music.

There will be a number of lantern workshops in the run-up. Cartwright Hall will host one event on Tuesday, October 24, from 1pm to 3pm and on the day of the parade from 11am to 1pm and from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

In the city centre there will be workshops at the shop in Darley Street used by Cecil Green Arts Group on Tuesday, October 17, and Wednesday, October 18, from 5pm to 8pm. Numbers are limited by the space so people are advised to arrive early.

The parade runs from 6.30pm to 7.30pm starting on the gallery steps.
