A LINCOLNSHIRE Council has appealed for the owners of a dog micro-chipped to Bradford to come forward after the animal was found near a local holiday resort.
The terrier was reportedly found on Back Lane near the Butlins Ingoldmells resort in Skegness.
Gary Ingham has contacted the Telegraph & Argus to ask for the owners of the dog to contact East Lindsey District Council before the animal is re-homed.
He said of the dog: "She is chipped to Bradford and our dog warden has left messages. She's wearing a collar and had a part of an extendable lead attached.
"If you can help reunite this little dog with her owners, please share or contact us on 01507 601111, ref: EHDS/08404/17.
"Someone must have lost this poor dog on holiday. If her owners are not found, she will be looking for a new home."
