PEOPLE across the Bradford district are putting the kettle on and selling cakes in aid of a cancer charity.
Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning events are being held at schools, offices and other organisations today.
They all are putting on beautiful spreads of homemade cakes, tea and coffee and also held raffles and tombolas to raise cash.
Blakehill Primary School, Highfield Road, Idle, is hosting an event.
It was co-organised by mother-of-four Niki Williams, 40, who was diagnosed two years ago with a brain tumour.
Last year the school raised raised more than £800 and it is hoping to smash this target.
Other places in the district which are holding events today include Idle Lounge Coffee House, Albion Road, Idle; Mughal Medical Practice, Ivanhoe Road; University of Bradford; Horton Bank Top Surgery, Great Horton Road; Cubed Resourcing, Salts Mill, Saltaire; The Waterfront, Salts Mill Road, Shipley
The Bradford Telegraph & Argus itself is also holding an event for staff at its office in Hall Ings. Sammi Elliott and Lydia Everett were named best bakers for their unicorn cake.
The world's biggest coffee morning is an annual event held by Macmillan for the last 27 years, and has raised more than £165.5 million since. This year's UK total will also look to beat 2016's £29.5m raised.
