TWO teenage boys have been arrested after the start of a police operation to tackle anti social behaviour in the city centre.
A 16 year old and a 17 year old were arrested yesterday under suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Officers had found a knuckle duster on one of the teens after a stop and search.
The arrests were part of Operation Kartfield - which aims to tackle anti-social behaviour, driving offences and street harassment on Great Horton Road and Randel Well Street, around Bradford College and the University of Bradford.
PC Chris Cahill said: "Stop and search when used correctly can be really effective in preventing future offences of serious harm. Recent updated training allows officers to use their designated powers confidently and within the law."
