A DERELICT former pub will be re-developed into housing if new plans are approved.
Plans have been submitted to Bradford Council to refurbish the Prince of Wales Inn on Bowling Old Lane, opposite St Stephen’s CE Primary School, and turn it into a house.
The application, by a Mr Ali, says: “The building is in a state of disrepair, but the intention is to bring the building back to its original glory.” The car park will be partially turfed with parking for four parking spaces retained.
The boarded up building was originally a row of cottages and dates back to the early 19th century. It shut as a pub in 2012, and subsequent plans to convert the property into houses have never materialised.
A decision on the application is expected to be made by planning officers in November.
