PLANS to open a church in a Bradford business centre have been approved by Bradford Council.
Bradford based Crown of Christ Gospel Church had applied for permission to change a unit in the Holroyd Business Centre in Wibsey into a place of worship.
The group said it is in the process of leasing the unit for three years, and plans on opening the church on Sunday mornings and for Tuesday evenings.
The evangelical church says that around 40 people normally take part in its services and there would be minimal changes to the building.
Planning officers have now approved the application.
There had been some objections that the plans would cause traffic problems, but officers said the business centre had a large car park that was unlikely to be busy at the times the church would be used.
