LEGENDARY boxing champion Frank Bruno is coming to Bradford.

The former WBC World Heavyweight Champion will be at The Broadway this Saturday, September 9, for signings of memorabilia.

Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, said: “We are extremely excited to welcome Frank Bruno to the Broadway. This event will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the MBE World Champion who will forever be recognised as one of the most well-loved and legendary boxers in British history.

"We are all excited about this event, it’s definitely not one to miss.”

Mr Bruno faced multiple top-rated heavyweights during his career including two bouts with Mike Tyson and a domestic clash against Lennox Lewis.

He won the WBC title in 1995 after defeating Oliver McCall at a packed Wembley Stadium.

Since then he has been fighting to give something back to the community by focusing his efforts towards his charity, The Frank Bruno Foundation.

The charity provides structured non-contact boxing which aims to relieve the social, emotional and mental distress that impacts the mental health of children, young people and adults.

Fans will get the chance to meet him, have photographs signed, purchase signed memorabilia and ask him questions about his career, lifetime achievements and upcoming projects.

He will be at the shopping centre between 12pm and 3pm.
