The stolen motorbike that was recovered in Thornton
A NUISANCE motorbike that had been seized by police was later found out to have been stolen.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Anti Social Bike team visited an address in Thornton on Friday, after receiving numerous reports that a motobike linked to the property was being used in an anti-social manner.
When officers located the bike (pictured), checks revealed it had been stolen from Halifax a few weeks earlier.
The bike has been seized and enquiries into the theft are continuing.
