A TEENAGE drug dealer who dreamed of setting up his own supply line to buy fast cars was either wicked or silly, a judge told him.

Umar Khan, 19, was caught with a stash of cocaine and cannabis, along with cutting agent, dealer bags and scales, when the police searched his home.

He pleaded guilty to possession of Class A and Class B drugs with intent to supply them and his case was listed for sentence at Bradford Crown Court on Friday.

Khan, of Thornbury Avenue, Bradford, was remanded in custody by Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC for the preparation of a report by the probabtion service.

Prosecutor Abigail Langford said his room was searched on January 31 and the police seized almost 45 grams of cocaine and 78 grams of cannabis.

Messages found on his computer referred to setting up a dealer line to target students in Leeds. The money would pay off a cannabis debt and buy high performance cars.

Khan's barrister, Shufqat Khan, said the teenager, who was 18 at the time, was holding on to the cocaine for his dealer. He had no previous convictions and he had been threatened with violence over the cannabis debt.

He was selling cannabis but warehousing the cocaine.

"He had ideas well above his station and it is fortunate that the police intervened," Mr Khan said.

Adjourning the case until September 8, Judge Durham Hall told Khan: "I don't know whether you are a wicked lad or a silly lad."
