A 22-YEAR-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving after an early morning car crash.
The Seat Leon was spotted by officers on Wakefield Road at 4.16am on Thursday. The car failed to stop and drove on a short distance before crashing at the junction with Paley Road.
The man, who was the only person in the car, was also arrested for possession of class B drugs.
He is currently in custody and the vehicle has been recovered for further enquiries.
