POLICE want to speak to this man in connection with a robbery in Shipley.

The victim, a 51-year-old man, was walking along Birklands Road, when the man (pictured) asked him for a cigarette.

The suspect was offered a cigarette and snatched the tin from the victim’s hand.

He then snatched the victim’s bag from his shoulder and ran off down Hall Royd.

The suspect is described as more than six feet tall, of stocky build, in his 20s and was wearing a blue jogging top, white shorts, black socks and trainers. The incident took place on August 12, at around 5.10am.

He was with a second man who was wearing a brown coloured shirt, pale blue baggy jeans and carrying a grey hooded top.
