POLICE surrounded a house in Undercliffe earlier today to search for a wanted man.

A convoy of police vehicles were seen passing through Prospect Road and Westminster Road before pulling up in Westminster Terrace at 12.15pm today.

An eye witness said officers, some who may have been armed, were at the front and back of a terraced house while other officers were on guard at the top and end of the street.

"I wasn't allowed to take photos. Police said they were looking for someone. They were trying to get in one of the houses, they were at the front and back. They weren't sealing off the street but they had people at the top and bottom. They were moving people back," he said.

A West Yorkshire police spokesman said: “Police attended an address in Westminster Terrace, Bradford at about 12.12pm today after receiving a report of a wanted male who was believed to be there.Officers searched the property, but the male was not located. Enquiries are continuing."
