Firefighters helped rescue a dog who became stranded at the base of a 50ft steep embankment at Bolton Abbey.
The dog, Shep, became stranded after running down the river chasing ducks.
The border collie did not want to come back because of the fast flowing river, and Andy Clift, a member of the estate team, climbed down to rescue the dog.
A fire crew from Skipton and the Incident support Unit from Ripon arrived on the scene. Mr Clift then helped firefighters to winch Shep to safety.
The incident happened on Saturday, with North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service called out at just after 7pm.
